Technique and movement
A view of the hands and relevant playing movement supports work on fingering, coordination and touch. Demonstration and explanation connect technical choices with the articulation and sound you are seeking.
Interpretation and preparation
Refine character, stylistic choices and the pacing of a programme. Lessons can centre on a passage or a complete performance, including preparation for auditions, examinations, concerts and recordings.

A clear view of your playing
Position the camera
Choose an angle showing your hands, the keyboard and relevant arm and upper-body movement. Include your feet and pedal use where possible; adjust the view when a particular movement or pedalling question is the focus.
Prepare the connection
A stable internet connection, a quiet room and clear sound are useful starting points. Use an acoustic or good-quality digital piano and keep the score nearby. An external microphone can help if you already have one; a studio setup is not required. The call can use Zoom or FaceTime.
Continuity in your study
A passage, a programme or continuing work
Focused lessons can address a demanding work or an approaching performance. Continuing study makes room to develop repertoire, revisit technical habits and follow musical questions over time. The lesson format, timing and fee are agreed individually.
Online study can also be combined with occasional in-person sessions in Amsterdam, arranged around the musical work and practical possibilities.
